The Kennebec Journal of 29 January 2007 printed a letter to the editor by ATC member, AMC member, and long-time seat belt advocate, Dr. Richard K. Jennings. Jennings laments the LURC rejection of the Redington wind mill installation.
He says, "We must not reject it. If, in fact, it means the sacrifice of the Bicknell thrush, or the view from the AT, that is sad, to be sure, but the alternative is by all measures far worse."
