"When we think about progress we just think that it took about 75 years to build the Appalachian Trail. We just need to keep pushing." that's what one organizer of the Eastcoast Greenway bicycle path says to their having been more or less rejected by Surfside Beach, NC. ...well, 75 years only after a manner of speaking. And then when you figure that the A.T. is constantly being re-routed, maybe it still isn't "done."
